- During its 50-year history, the Donovan Catholic Griffins have enjoyed athletic success at every level and in every sport. Even more important is the reputation Donovan Catholic holds for outstanding sportsmanship. Donovan Catholic Athletics encourages its student-athletes to regard their academic studies as primary. We also promote individual growth and leadership skills through participation in all aspects of the school. Our scholar-athletes have achieved remarkable distinctions. As the first diocesan high school to institute the Catholic Athletes for Christ (CAC) program, Donovan Catholic has made spiritual learning a critical part of the sports life at Donovan.
